Aluminum Cans Build Habitat for Humanity Homes.

The name may not be creative, but it is descriptive.  If just 1% of the money paid annually by the aluminum industry for empty aluminum cans is directed towards Habitat for Humanity International, 250 additional Habitat homes could be built in the United States each year!   Alcan is giving Habitat for Humanity of Madison and Clark Counties DOUBLE the value of the cans collected in our name.  Cans may be dropped off at Alcan, 302 Mayde Road, in the Industrial Park in Berea.  Place the cans  (no garbage) in the dumpster labeled "Habitat for Humanity" next to the guard house. There are drop off sites behind the City Hall and in front of Union Church.  Cans may be dropped in Richmond at EKU at the Gabbard Building (Van Hoose Drive) or behind the Student Services Building.  Contact our office for assistance in can collection. Visit http://www.cansfor habitat.org for more information about the program.

Every year over 400 million ink jet printer cartridges are discarded into our nation's landfills, taking up valuable space and wasting priceless resources.  Now, you can recycle ink jet cartridges and make a contribution to Habitat for Humanity of Madison and Clark Counties at the same time! Drop your old cartridges here in our office or  Contact us to receive postage paid mailing envelopes to recycle your ink jet cartridges.  Just put one cartridge into each envelope and drop in the mail.  It's that easy.
